Astro in The Cloud
Astro in The Cloud
Welcome to the Astro World
After years of wrangling servers and troubleshooting tech mysteries, I’m taking my skills to the cloud! My first major project? This website! Built with Astro, it’s a lightning-fast, sleek showcase of my transition from IT to cloud technologies.
The real magic happens when I move these projects into the cloud, where the possibilities are endless.
I’m having a blast experimenting with new ideas, and designing projects while diving into all the cool, futuristic stuff the cloud has to offer. It's like leveling up from 2D puzzles to a 3D game world — and I’m all in! This site is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m excited to share more fun, experimental projects along the way. In the cloud, anything’s possible!
Hi, or Hola! I'm Astro
I'm an IT professional who's transitioning into the world of cloud computing. After years of managing servers and troubleshooting tech. This website is my first project in this exciting new chapter, and I’m eager to share what I’m learning along the way.
When I’m not coding, I’m usually creating playlists, playing video games, or experimenting with new tech. Feel free to check out my work and reach out if you want to connect!
How did I break into IT?
1Analyze the Market
The IT job market can be totally different depending on where you live. For example, my first IT job was in Latin America as a help desk, and I absolutely loved it! It opened up a whole new world of technology and showed me how it can meet a company's needs and be joyful about it.
2Consider all the Factors (CTF)
While a good salary is always nice, the real payoff in IT often comes in the form of career growth, problem-solving challenges, and the satisfaction of creating something new
3Evaluate your passions and skills
Besides my short budgets, it was so fun building a computer and this landed in everything I loved. Spending time with the passions never are gonna be in vain however it's normal to wonder what vibrates inside of you? I wondered this before going to college and helped me to arrive to this conclusion.
Reflect on what truly motivates you and what skills you can enhance to achieve success. For example, during my time in college, I researched cybersecurity and combined that with my passion for software design. This helped me shape my future career goals
4Let your passions drive your success
Practice, build, and design. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—they're how we learn! Remember, great things take time. You're not alone in this journey, so keep pushing forward.
